Congratulations State Champs!

Our elementary boys basketball team beat the East Moline Eagles in the championship game. Here is a letter from coach Williams:

I want to start off by saying we had an incredible season.  Literally, this team has a bright future, and I look forward to working with these kids for the next couple of years.  Our journey to State began with a regional playoff game against I.C.C.S (Illinois Central Christian School) down near Peoria, IL. We beat ICCS relatively easy with a final score of 43-6.  Our semi-final and championship game took place on the same day in Danville, IL. We played Marquette Manor in our semi-final game in which we faced a little opposition. About the fourth quarter we broke away and eventually won the game with the final score being 34-17. Our final game, being the Championship game was against East Moline. That wasn’t really a game, but it was good for our team because everyone got plenty of playing time. Every ball player had fun in that game. The final score of that game was

42-26.  We look forward to next year already, I can’t wait!
