Students are tentatively accepted at BBCS after an interview with the administration. Final acceptance is contingent upon the results of any required testing, the review of permanent records of the student’s previous schooling, and grade placement.
Please Note: By completing the application, you are agreeing to abide by the policies and procedures set forth in the Statement of Cooperation, Financial Agreement, and Parent/Student Handbook.
Enrollment is not finalized until the following steps have been completed:
Create an Application Account with FACTS and fill out the application online.
Step 1: Apply Online
The interview process will include an interview with the administrator and any appropriate academic testing. Acceptance is communicated via email after the interview.
Step 2: Interview
Upon acceptance, families should create a FACTS Family Portal account to complete enrollment forms. Our District Code is BBCS-IL. Documents can be uploaded online or brought into the office. Check your email for an invoice from the finance office for the registration fee and first month’s tuition. These fees are due before starting school.
Step 3: Enrollment
Enrollment paperwork must be completed, required documents must be submitted, and registration fees and the first mont’s tuition must be paid before students may begin.
Step 4: Start School
Required Documentation
- Photocopy of student’s birth certificate on file.
- School Health – medical examination (K5, 5th, & 9th grades). Medical exams must be taken before school begins (Illinois Statute). A child must be 5 years old by September 1st to be allowed to enter Kindergarten. Pre-school children must be 3 years old to begin pre-school.
- Proof of insurance under which the student is covered. (Photocopy of insurance card)
- Statement of cooperation. This is part of the Enrollment Paperwork in FACTS.
- Student records should be sent directly from the previous school.
Application Checklist:
- Application to BBCS completed.
- A personal interview and school tour will be arranged before the notification of acceptance is given.
- Any necessary testing completed.
- Registration fee paid
- Photocopy of student’s birth certificate on file.
