The leaves are brightly colored and ready to fall and with the fall season comes pumpkin picking and visits to the apple orchard. Thanksgiving is around the corner with family and lots of food, such as apple cider, cranberry sauce and don’t forget the turkey. Soon the leaves will be gone and frost will hit the ground. Jingle bells will fill the air and shoppers will line the mall. In the midst of all of this, there will be those in hospital beds not enjoying the warmth of their own home and in need of other’s help. Around this time, as we think of family, friends and our own comforts, please remember the needs of others and give the gift of life. Berean Baptist Christian School was founded in 1977 by Dr. Melvin Swanson, then Senior Pastor of the Berean Baptist Church.
