Berean Baptist Christian School has chosen to implement the dress code policy by the adoption of a uniform program for students in K-5 through 12th grade. There are clear biblical principles that ought to govern choice for dress. The administration reserves the right to determine if a student is dressed and groomed appropriately.
We require that all uniforms may only be purchased through our uniform provider Schoolbelles.
Schoolbelles can be ordered in-store and online at schoolbelles.com using school code S2682.

- Dress types are deemed inappropriate if they attract undue attention to the outward appearance, detracting from the reflection of Christ, which initiates internally (1 Timothy 2:9-10).
- Dress is to be distinctively masculine for boys and feminine for girls, reflecting a wholesome appreciation for God’s creative plan (Deuteronomy 22:5).
- Immodesty in dress is incompatible with the concept of the Christian as one indwelt by the Holy Spirit, God Himself (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
- The school dress code is expected to be kept at all school functions whether before school or after school and whether on-campus or off-campus unless instructed otherwise.
- At all before-school and after-school BBCS events (sporting events, fine arts events, etc.), students do not need to be in uniform but must follow similar guidelines and dress standards of BBCS. These events include events that are on-campus and off-campus.
- For Fine Arts events (FA tournaments, concerts, programs, etc.), students do not need to be in uniform but must be dressed neatly and modestly according to school guidelines.
- PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO COOPERATE IN MEETING THE DRESS STANDARDS.
- As students violate Dress Code, parents will be notified via email and students will receive a written Dress Code Violation.
- Students will receive a detention at the third and consecutive Dress Code Violations each quarter.
- Dress Code Violations will reset to zero at the start of each quarter.
- All K5-12th grade students are required to wear school uniforms.
- All shirts, jumpers, skirts, pants, and sweater uniforms must be purchased from Schoolbelles.
- Activity Wear, Spirit Wear, and Denim Day Attire are options on special days. Days where these dress codes are applied will be communicated to parents before the day.
- It is important that every uniform item be labeled with the owner’s name. BBCS is not
responsible for misplaced items.
