BBCS Spirit Week is November 16-20

Basic Guidelines: 

• If you dress up, your clothing still needs to follow the school dress code (wear sleeves, no shorts, girls no pants, appropriate themes, etc.).
•  If you do not dress up, you need to wear your normal school uniform.
• Face paint and hair coloring are only allowed on Thursday and Friday, and must be put on at home.
• No weapons (real or fake) are allowed on any day.

Monday – Alphabet Day

Dress up like something that starts with the same letter of the alphabet as your name. Frank might dress up like a Firefighter. Trent Darnold could dress up like a domino. Be creative and have fun. (You can’t just come dressed as yourself)

Tuesday – Video Game Day

Have you ever wanted to be Mario, Pacman, or Minecraft Steve? Dress up as one of your favorite characters from a video game. Choose your player.

Wednesday – Homeroom Day

Each homeroom class will get to choose their group themed costume for the entire class to wear. Teachers will work with their class to help choose a theme.

Thursday – Circus Day

Dress up as someone or something you would find at a circus. From peanuts to acting nuts (like a clown), what will you be today?

Friday – Kingsmen Day

Break out your spirit wear and show off your school pride by going all-out in your maroon, silver, black, and white. 

How to Earn Points for the Week

1. Decorations

• Preschool and Elementary – Classroom Doors
  • 1st – 500,000 points
  • 2nd – 200,000 points
  • 3rd – 100,000 points
• Junior High – Small Banners (gym wall) and Homeroom Bulletin Boards
  • 1st – 500,000 points
  • 2nd – 200,000 points
  • 3rd – 100,000 points
• High School – Banners (full size sheet) and Building Hallways
  • Freshman – High School boys side
  • Sophomores – High School girls side
  • Juniors – Junior High gym side
  • Seniors – Junior High classroom side
  • 1st – 500,000 points
  • 2nd – 200,000 points
  • 3rd – 100,000 points

2. Dressing Up

• Max of 100,000 points per class per day (based on class percentage)

3. Games

• There will be random games played throughout the week. Total points available will be announced before each game.
